Please go to this link and read Dr. Margaret Flowers open letter to President Obama. She is a pediatrician and she had the courage and conviction to leave her private practice and to speak out in favor of a single payer system like Medicare as an answer to the president’s request for suggestions to solve the health care reform problems. I totally agree with her and have from the beginning. I think we will have to mount a public effort to accomplish anything significant for health care reform. Something has happened to our president since he made his bold statements in 2003 which she refers to in her letter.
In her attempt to reach the president and at least have her suggestions delivered to the president she was arrested. As in the days of the Vietnam War I am afraid we will have to re-institute marches and protests to be heard.
At 86 years of age I have little to gain because I have Medicare and a good supplemental insurance policy which covers all my needs. It is for you young and middle-aged citizens that I have taken up this cause of health reform. So, let’s get going and let Congress know how you feel. If you don’t, I’m very much afraid we will end up with a weakened reform that will require years of changes, or we may end up with no bill at all. This will be a terrible defeat for our president but an even worse one for us.

Just wondering, if i can use this information for my research paper's project. However, i admire the way you present your words ... Thank u anywys..
